1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using BloatBuster AI ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the Shopify store owner.

2. Service Description

BloatBuster AI is a Shopify application that provides AI-powered theme code auditing, zombie code detection, speed optimization analysis, cleanup tools, and performance monitoring. The Service reads and, with explicit consent, modifies Shopify theme files.

3. Subscription Plans

BloatBuster AI offers four subscription tiers:

  • Free: Limited scanning (1/month), top 5 findings, no cleanup.
  • Growth ($7.99/mo): Unlimited scans, cleanup, speed tests, monitoring.
  • Pro ($24.99/mo): Multi-theme scan, competitor benchmark, CSV export.
  • Ultra ($39.99/mo): Forensic App Impact, Theme Sentinel, App Hibernation.

All paid plans include a 3-day free trial. Billing is handled entirely through Shopify's billing system.

4. Consent & Theme Modifications

The Zombie Code Cleanup and App Hibernation features modify your Theme files. BY INITIATING ANY CLEANUP OR HIBERNATION ACTION, YOU EXPRESSLY CONSENT TO BLOATBUSTER AI MODIFYING YOUR THEME FILES AND ACCEPT FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RESULTING CHANGES. We create backups before modifications, but these are limited to the specific files modified and do not constitute a full theme backup.

We STRONGLY recommend that you: (a) create a full theme backup via Shopify Admin before any operation; (b) test on a preview/development theme first; (c) verify your store after each change.

5. Experimental Features

Certain features, including App Hibernation, are designated as "Experimental." EXPERIMENTAL FEATURES ARE PROVIDED "AS-IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY. They may produce unexpected results, cause rendering issues, or be modified/removed without notice. YOU USE EXPERIMENTAL FEATURES ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

6. No Guarantee of Results

PageSpeed scores, performance metrics, cost estimates, and all other data provided by BloatBuster AI are approximations generated by automated analysis. We do not guarantee any specific speed improvement, conversion increase, revenue change, or other outcome.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLOATBUSTER AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: LOST REVENUE, BROKEN THEMES, STORE DOWNTIME, DATA LOSS, OR REPUTATIONAL DAMAGE. Our total liability shall not exceed the lesser of (a) fees paid in the preceding 12 months, or (b) €50.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
